Greetigifts Terms and Conditions of Sale

Orders and Delivery
We post items Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. At the moment, we only accept orders for delivery within the UK.

All items are sent first class post via Royal Mail. Our minimum guaranteed postal standard is as follows: Orders placed Monday – Thursday are guaranteed to be posted within 24 hours of the order being received. (Excluding Bank Holidays), orders placed on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday are guaranteed to be posted next working day (excluding bank holidays). This is our minimum guaranteed standard. From time to time we may advertise enhanced postage guarantees applicable to orders placed that day. See our Home Page for further details.

Whilst we expect the majority of items sent first class via the Royal Mail will be received next day, we are unable to exert any control over delivery times once the item has left our offices. To avoid disappointment, we suggest you order gifts at least three working days in advance of the occasion. If deemed necessary items will be sent Recorded Delivery.

All orders will be acknowledged on the understanding that all goods are subject to availability.
Dates quoted for delivery are approximate. Greetigifts shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the order regardless of the circumstances. All risk of damage or loss of the goods shall pass to the customer at the time of goods being posted by Greetigifts.
It is the Customers sole responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery details are provided to Greetigifts and that arrangements are made by the Customer to take delivery of those goods.

Greetigifts shall not be deemed in breach of the agreement by reason of any delay or failure due to any person or cause beyond Greetigifts reasonable control.
Upon delivery of the goods, the Customer shall examine the goods promptly and notify Greetigifts of any apparent damage, defect or shortage within 5 working days of delivery.
If Greetigifts fails to deliver the order for any reason other than any person or cause beyond Greetigifts reasonable control and Greetigifts is liable to the Customer, Greetigifts liability shall be limited to the invoice price of the goods and in no way extend to consequential loss, howsoever caused. Should the Customer fail to notify Greetigifts within 5 working days, Greetigifts shall be deemed conclusively to have performed its obligations.

Credit Card Security
All credit card transactions are checked prior to orders being sent out. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure all the details given are correct. Greetigifts accepts no responsibility for any order delayed as a result of incorrect payment or delivery details being given.

Refunds
Refunds will only be made if the goods are faulty and the Customer has notified Greetigifts in writing of the damaged goods within 5 working days of delivery.

Pricing and Charges
Prices are determined by Greetigifts current price list at the date of acceptance of the order by Greetigifts. All prices include VAT.
Charges for posting and packaging are provided on the website.
Greetigifts make every effort to ensure that all prices are shown accurately. However, should a mistake happen Greetigifts will correct the mistake and inform the Customer, the Customer may decide whether to continue with the order at the correct price.
In any event of a claim, settlement will be limited to the value of the goods and will in no way extend to consequential loss, whatever the circumstances and howsoever caused.

Illustrations and Designs
Whilst ever effort is made by Greetigifts to ensure all illustrations and descriptions of goods is as accurate and as clear as possible, all illustrations, designs and general descriptions on the website or other publications are intended to represent a general guidance only. The customer shall take the goods at his own risk.

Disputes
Any dispute or claims whatever nature must be first put in writing to Greetigifts who will respond to the Customer within 5 working days.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
